Third-generation Italian excellence: The signature woven bags from label Serapian are synonymous with luxury and genuine handcraftsmanship. When Stefano Serapian and his younger brother fled Armenia for Italy in the 1920s, nobody would have guessed that their label would be an authority on the finest leather bags and accessories almost one hundred years later. Serapian started off riding around Milan on his bicycle to sell his handmade leather goods. Not only did he soon enjoy great success by offering individual commissions, he also met his later wife and business partner Gina Flori on his travels. Great-grandnephew Giovanni Nodari Serapian has a special story to tell about Stefano Serapian's work: Stefano assembled the bags first and then made drawings of them afterwards.
