PT TORINO Trousers for men

What is PT?

PT stands for 'Pantaloni Torino', Italian for 'trousers from Turin'. PT Torino is a Turin-based trouser specialist, renowned for its precise fits, premium fabrics and traditional tailoring.

Is PT Torino a Luxury Brand?

PT Torino is one of Italy's leading premium brands for men's trousers. Fine fabrics, a precise fit and artisanal craftsmanship in Italy place the label firmly in the upper end of the menswear market.

The Story Behind the Brand: Where Does PT Torino Come From?

PT Torino's roots lie in a Turin textile wholesaler, through which the Fassino family traded high-quality fabrics in the 1960s. In 1969, founder Pierangelo Fassino began specialising in men's trousers, and the business continued to grow under his son, Edoardo Fassino. In the 1990s, this gave rise to the premium label PT Pantaloni Torino, which has traded as PT Torino since 2019. Today, the company is run by the third generation of the family and offers a total look in which cut and fit always set the standard.

'If I had just one sentence to convince someone who has never worn PT Torino, I would say: PT Torino stands for exceptional trousers that make you look impeccable without ever feeling overdressed.' – Barbara Signori, Senior Advisor at PT Torino

Versatile for Every Occasion

PT Torino men's trousers are as much at home in the office as they are at the weekend. The brand works with premium materials such as cotton, wool, cashmere and linen, complemented by innovative stretch fabrics including tropical wool, techno wool, stretch gabardine and stretch satin. These offer just the right amount of give and a high level of comfort, especially in close-fitting cuts such as the Superslim.
PT Torino also uses sustainable stretch fabrics and is continually expanding its range of technical trousers. When it comes to the look, the brand likes to experiment with garment dyeing, which gives the trousers their character and a subtly washed-out finish. In this process, the fully sewn trousers are dyed as a whole.
The colour palette ranges from beige, brown, grey and charcoal to navy, dark blue and black – a selection that pairs effortlessly with a jumper or blazer. Production takes place in Italy, Romania and Tunisia, including at two of the brand's own factories under Italian management, giving it direct control over every stage of manufacture.

Craftsmanship that Shows in Every Detail

At PT Torino, trousers are regarded as the garment that most clearly showcases the brand's expertise: the proportions, the balance of the leg and the way the waistband sits all reveal carefully considered construction. Only on closer inspection do the finer points emerge, such as the interior finishing, the line of the seams and the choice of buttons – and it is precisely these details that set a PT Torino design for men apart from an ordinary pair of trousers. Each style is conceived as an investment in enduring elegance that holds its own for years to come. That is why proven fits remain a permanent part of the collection, while fabrics, colours and proportions evolve subtly from season to season.

PT Torino Trousers: the Different Styles

With around 60 styles, 70 fabrics and more than 700 combinations each season, PT Torino offers one of the widest selections of men's trousers in the premium segment. Here is an overview of the key styles and fits:

  • Carrot Fit: The classic carrot-leg trouser is cut generously through the thigh and tapers towards the ankle. Details such as an extended waistband tab and double pleats add elegance, while the cropped length makes it the ideal partner for loafers.
  • Rebel Fit: The PT Torino Rebel Fit is a more relaxed take on the tapered trouser. A single pleat and a shorter waistband extension with a hook-and-bar fastening give it a more modern feel. The slim, tapered leg works equally well with trainers and classic shoes such as lace-ups.
  • Slim Fit: The Slim Fit is the classic among PT Torino trousers – slim in cut yet comfortable to wear. In the finest Super 120s virgin wool, it becomes an elegant companion to a blazer and shirt; in pure cotton twill, it becomes the versatile PT Torino chino for everyday wear.
  • Master Fit: The PT Torino Master Fit features a high rise and a straight, slightly tapered leg with a cropped finish. Available in fluid, subtly marled virgin wool or pure cotton, it looks effortlessly elegant with a knitted polo and loafers.
  • Gentleman Fit: The Gentleman Fit draws on the tradition of Italian bespoke tailoring, with a mid-rise, one or two pleats and side adjusters. In fine virgin wool it comes into its own at the office, while lightweight linen-cotton blends make it just as convincing on warmer days.
  • Michael: The Michael style stands out with double pleats, two different back pockets and a straight regular fit that suits any occasion.
  • Shorts & Bermudas: With double pleats and stitched turn-ups, PT Torino shorts and Bermudas bring a touch of summer elegance to the wardrobe.
  • Corduroy & Denim: Alongside classic wool trousers and PT Torino corduroy trousers for the cooler months, we also stock cargo-inspired cotton trousers and PT Torino jeans from the sub-label PT Torino Denim.
