Jumpers, cardigans and winter accessories by Wommelsdorff exceed all expectations for genuine handcraftsmanship: Every single product is hand-knitted here in Germany by selected knitters, using the finest yarn nature has to offer: Cashmere. Designer Anne Schramm had already worked for major high-fashion labels before running her young knitwear brand from Berlin. Once the manual production process is complete, she personally sews the label into the jumpers. She named her brand after her grandmother Maria Wommelsdorff, to whom she owes her skills. Anne Schramm combines the skill that has been passed down from generation to generation with innovative details to create contemporary styles. She creates unique shapes and modern twists by combining crochet and knitting techniques in her unique pieces. The choice of material, such as cashmere and the finest virgin wool, plays an equally important role for the luxurious knitwear that is created to emphasise the personality of its wearer and to provide natural warmth in winter.
