About the designer

The family-owned company Ludwig Reiter, founded in Vienna in 1885, is now managed by the fourth generation. This shoe manufacturer with an exceptionally long tradition can proudly look back on 120 years of experience, specialising in particular in the production of welted shoes in classic Viennese style, all of which are elaborately manufactured by hand. Over the past decades, the Ludwig Reiter portfolio was expanded to include premium quality casual shoes, as well as exclusive leather items and accessories. 200 work steps to finish a shoe: starting with the selection of the right type of leather, the cutting of the individual elements, and punching out of the leather, right down to the cleaning and polishing of the completed shoe.
