About the designer

Looking good while doing good: No problem for the Spanish label, as Ecoalf stands for sustainable fashion which never becomes less fashionable or decreases in value. The founder Javier Goyeneche created the name by putting together the abbreviation for the word "ecology" and the start of his son Alfredo's name, for whom he wishes to contribute to a sustainable world. The so-called "up-cycling" process used by Ecoalf is a method of upgrading which takes remnants of production like old car tyres and PET bottles and re-uses them to create new items of clothing to reduce the necessity to use new resources and also reduce waste. The company invests in research and development to create more processing technologies which ensure an environmentally and resource-friendly method of production. Interesting detail: The environmental evaluation of the products can be seen on small labels incorporated in each item.
