About the designer

The success story of the Hugo Boss brand started in 1924. Meanwhile, the label has become incredibly well-known. In the beginning, Boss specialised in making occupational clothing for men. As time went by, work clothes were replaced by traditional menswear. In 1985, the company management decided to take a decisive step: The corporation went public on 19 December 1985, starting with preferred shares. In addition to men’s fashion, the first designs for a ladies collection were created in 1997 and first presented to the market in 2000. The company has four primary lines of menswear (Boss Orange, Boss Green, Hugo Boss Black Label and Hugo Boss Red Label), catering for a wide range of customers. In order to meet our customer’s requirements, we have put together a select choice of very exclusive models from the special BOSS Tailored Collection. The Hugo Boss corporation has a thorough understanding of successful market positioning. With its menswear and ladies lines as well as a small kids’ collection and a selection of home living accessories, the company has long been major market player.
