About the designer

Sophisticated casualwear – the international denim fashion label Closed was founded in Italy in 1978. Despite headquarters having moved to Hamburg, most of their products are still made in Italy. The fashion label represents a contemporary and casual upper middle class style. The label made its name in jeans fashion using innovative designs and new techniques. The introduction of stone-washing, for that trendy casual denim look, for example, can be ascribed to this trend label. The current directors Gordon Giers, Hand Redlefsen, and Til Nadler met in the 1980s, became friends as well as business partners, and see their fashion company as a "family business" in the broadest sense of the word.

A = Back length

Measure the closed garment in the middle of the back from the nape seam, or the lowest seam of the neckband, straight down to the hem.

B = Chest measurement

Measure from the height of the chest line, slightly below the sleeve seam, straight from the left to the right side and then double the measurement.

C = Sleeve length

Lay the flat garment on a plane surface. Then measure straightly from the highest point of the sleeve down to the sleeve seam.

D = Shoulder width

The straightly measured distance from the nape seam to the sleeve seam.

E = Back width

Measure straight from the left side to the right side in the back, approximately on half of the sleeve height.
